
Jennie Dopp
Director of CaringTide
Jennie Dopp serves as the Director of CaringTide and has been instrumental in shaping the organization since its inception. With over two decades of experience in disability advocacy and family support, she brings both professional depth and personal insight to her leadership role.
Before joining CaringTide, Jennie led several major initiatives at the Utah Parent Center, including Development, Transition University, Medicaid Waiver education, and served as a disability lobbyist. Her leadership history includes positions such as Chair of the State Rehabilitation Council, Development Officer, Advisory Board Founder, and member of the Utah Disability Advocacy Network. Additionally, Jennie served for ten years as Executive Director of Duplication Cares, a global nonprofit supporting families affected by 7q11.23 Duplication Syndrome. She is also a Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC).
As the mother of an adult son with multiple disabilities, Jennie understands firsthand the challenges families face in navigating complex support systems. At CaringTide, she focuses on building practical resources, expanding access, and fostering meaningful connections within the disability community. Outside of her work, Jennie enjoys spending time with her family, beach days, movies, and indulging in anything chocolate.
